Five for Friday - 4th April 2014

I'm linking up with DoodleBugs for another Five for Friday Fun!

1. Patterning Fun!

We learned lots about patterns this week. Here they are making AB patterns with dinosaurs and teddies.

They then made AB patterns using this freebie by Jill Bell:

Finally, they followed cards to make patterns using pegboards. (The cards are from Sparklebox)

2. Word Families

We tried our hand at sorting words by the word families -og and -en.

3. Easter Crafts

Because this was the last week with the students before Easter it was full of Easter fun! We made cards, collaged crosses, crafted bunnies, and made baskets ( which were NOT big enough in the end for all the chocolate our class shared!).

For the cards we used crayon to make patterns and then did a wash over the eggs:

I am so proud of how these crosses look all together. The scripture underneath  is 1 Peter 1:3-5 in the Message version.

4. 2 years married!

This week my husband and I celebrated 2 years being married!

We "celebrated" by watching Narnia: Voyage of Dawn Treader on TV while eating pizza from Aldi. Romantic ;)

5. HOLIDAYS!!!

It is officially school holidays for 2 weeks!

Enough said :)

Till next time,

Stay joyful!
